This web site is a natural extension of my father’s project that began several years ago. He created a book of my mother’s songs to share her love of God and music with others. This book contains songs written by my wife Joan Agnes Minardi nee Ferris. It contains 42 general songs of praise along with 16 songs written for a play. Joan wrote these songs of prayer and praise over many years. She recorded some of them on a simple tape recorder and wrote many of them in her notebooks. However, her main focus was to use them with the prayer groups with which she was associated: The Ascension Prayer Group and The Healing Light Community. Joan led the singing for The Healing Light Community on Thursday night and used many of her songs with that group and they still use them today. Joan and her friends started The Ascension Prayer Group and they also used many of her songs for prayer and praise.
